It's that time again!

Dear Friends,

Fall Friday is here again. The season’s calling, so grab your cider mugs, flannels, and get ready for a bonfire.

This all started a few years back when we noticed how easily autumn slipped by. Whole seasons came and went without new core memories, without traditions, the time just blurred with busyness of life and work. Becuase of this, we began setting aside time on our Fridays. A small pause each week to notice, to celebrate, to remember what the season gives, to be intentional rather large or small, but always together.

Over time, friends joined in. Some made their own playlists. Some cooked the same meal each week. Some just lit a candle and slowed down. That’s the heart of it, Fall Friday isn’t an event to attend—it’s a rhythm you make your own. A practice of being intentional with the time and moments we’re given.

Flannel. Crockpots. Candles. Movies. Leaves. Simple things. Real core memories.

For us, Fall Friday is a way to choose connection over distraction. To build traditions that ground us and bring us closer.

It’s our way of honoring the season – together.

With warmth,
The Hall Family

Gather what's simple and let it become tradition.

FAQs

Just in case you're wondering one of the following…

Wait, is this an in-person thing every week at your house?

+

Not exactly. Fall Friday is a simple weekly rhythm you can bring into your own home: playlist on, something simmering, one small tradition, a cozy watch. We do host friends some weeks; if you’d like to hang out, reach out and we’ll see if it lines up.

Can I recommend playlists, movies, or recipes?

+

Absolutely, and please do. Fall Friday is about community and sharing traditions; the more the merrier. You can email your suggestions to rachel@colonycreative.com. We love weaving community favorites into Fall Friday (credit where possible).

Where do I get Fall Friday swag?

+

Comfy sweaters and beanies are in the works. Limited drops will appear here first, watch the calendar for release dates.

Will you add other activities?

+

Absolutely. Crafts, events, attire, decor, printables, and at-home projects are coming soon. We’ll roll them out as the season unfolds on the calendar. We are big fans of scaling small™ and just wanted to get this out there for friends/family.

What if I can't commit every week?

+

That’s okay, the goal isn’t perfection but is to not let the season pass by without creating some core memories for you and your loved ones. Life is short so even doing one simple item like a fall playlist + warm mug + a 20-minute lantern walk. Traditions stick when they’re small and repeatable. Those are the things we remember in life.

Will there be a weekly email?

+

We’re ready for Fall Friday but an email list… not quite. We will start sending email updates soon. In the meantime, thank you for your interest. You can sign up with the form below if you are interested!

How do I start my own Fall Friday?

+

Keep it simple and repeatable: pick your Friday time, start the playlist, light a candle, set a crockpot by noon, add one small ritual (lantern walk, leaf press, handwritten note), then end with a film. Consistency over complexity.

Don't Miss a Fall Friday

We're ready for Fall Friday but an email list... not quite. We will start sending email updates soon. In the meantime, thank you for your interest and for signing up!
